Las Vegas ATV Tours

When you've thrown your last dice and you just want to get away from the flashing lights, incessant chime of slot machines, and the corralling hucksters on the Las Vegas Strip, there is no better escape than Nevada's Valley of Fire State Park.  Located only six miles from Lake Mead and 55 miles northeast of Las Vegas, the Valley of Fire is Nevada's oldest and largest state park.  And there is no better way to experience the otherworldly pleasures of the Valley of Fire than on a powerful, fully automatic, 325cc ATV (All Terrain Vehicle).

Taking an Extremethings.com Las Vegas ATV tour in the Valley of Fire is like visiting another planet.  With its fiery red sandstone formations, bright orange colored sand dunes, and indecipherable Native American petroglyphs, it is hard to believe you're only an hour's drive from the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas. Six hundred million years ago the entire area was under water, a fact lost on you as you race your ATV over roller-coaster-like dunes, up and down 45 degree angled hills, and along mammoth-sized sandstone formations.

During your tour, you'll gradually climb in elevation, plateauing at approximately 900 feet where you'll be rewarded with outstanding views that stretch over 50 miles. The changing elevations also provide you with a unique opportunity to view funky desert vegetation that thrives within specific altitude bands.  In addition to vegetation, an abundance of wildlife also inhabits the Valley of Fire such as deer, golden eagles, and mountain lions.
