Tandem Skydive Las Vegas, Nevada $225.00

What is the agenda for the activity?  What can participants expect?
Your Las Vegas Tandem Jump experience will begin with a free shuttle from a central location on the Las Vegas "Strip" to the dropzone, just 25 minutes away.  Van pick up is generally at 8:00AM with a return of about 1:00PM everyday.  The Tandem Skydive will include about 25 minutes of ground school that will explain skydiving equipment, maneuvers and safety instruction.  Then you’ll board a Cessna Caravan for a 15 minute flight to altitude.  Once at altitude, your tandem dive master will be latched to you and together you’ll jump into freefall.  You will feel the sensation of flight (straight down!) at over 120mph or 200 feet per second.  The freefall will last up to 60 seconds before your parachute is deployed at approximately 5,500 feet.  Then you and your tandem dive master will enjoy a gentle ride down to the dropzone.  If you’re up to it, you will be able to steer the canopy on the way down.

Please note:  we will not be able to accommodate spectators on the pick-up shuttle.  Spectators are will at the dropzone but must make their own way there.

What should the participants bring or wear?  Is all equipment included?
Parachute, harness, goggles, jumpsuit and all other equipment is included with your skydiving experience, however, please wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes.  Pictures, video cassettes and DVD’s of your skydive can be purchased on location for additional cost.

How long should the participants allow for the activity from start to finish?
Please allow 2 to 4 hours for the Tandem Jump to allow for check-in, ground school and pre-flight safety checks.  Van pick-up from a central location on the Strip is at 8:00AM and will return you to the same location around 1:00PM everyday.

When and Where does the activity take place?
Your skydiving experience will take place in Boulder City, Nevada, approximately 25 minutes from downtown Las Vegas.  From 13,000 feet in the air, Las Vegas skydivers will be able to see the Hoover Dam, Lake Meade, Red Rock Canyon, and the infamous Las Vegas "Strip."
