The beauty of the brightly colored red walls reaching out to the deep blue, cloudless sky has attracted rock climbers from all over the world. And now you can experience the scenery, the serenity, and the adventure that draws them here.

Note:  all rock climbing lessons, except private instruction, have a 3-person minium.

What is the agenda for the activity?  What can participants expect?
Rock Climbing experience includes van pick-up and drop-off from any Las Vegas Strip hotel.  Pick-ups are generally scheduled around 8AM.  Once all participants are onboard, there will be a 45 minute drive to Red Rock Canyon.

Climbing instruction covers the absolute essentials for safely climbing steep rock and is a valuable course for those wishing to pursue mountaineering.  Your climbing instruction will be provided by some of the most experienced climbers in the country, all of whom are AMGA certified.  Instruction begins with extensive ground school where you will become intimately familiar with the climbing equipment, tying knots, anchoring, belaying, communication signals and climbing lingo, rating system and climbing technique.  After the ground school each participant will get plenty of opportunity to test themselves against the rock where they will be taught “bouldering” (movement on the rock), top-rope climbing, and rappelling.  Expect a full day of climbing with a one-hour lunch break.

What should the participants bring or wear?  Is all equipment included?
All necessary climbing equipment is included such as rock shoes, helmet and technical gear.  Participants should wear comfortable clothing that allows for a complete range of movement, and bring at least one liter of water per person, sunscreen, sunglasses and lunch.  Always bring medications which you may need on any trip (i.e. asthma inhaler, allergy medication, bee sting kit, etc.).
 
How long should the participants allow for the activity from start to finish?
Rock climbing is an all-day activity.  You will meet with the climbing group at 8AM with the course ending at approximately 4PM.  There will be a one-hour break for lunch.

When and Where does the activity take place?
Your rock climbing instruction will take place in Red Rock Canyon, Nevada.  Climbing can be scheduled year-around.
 
Are there any restrictions (age, weight, health, etc.)?
Participants should be physically fit and in good health to participate in this activity.

Can spectators be accommodated?
Spectators are welcome.

Can minors participate?
All ages are welcome, however, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can persons with disabilities be accommodated?
Participants should be in good health to participate in this experience.

Can large groups or corporate events be accommodated?
Large outdoor adventure groups and corporate events can be accommodated.

Are there any availability or timing restrictions?
Rock climbing courses can be scheduled for any day of the week and have three-person minium.
