What is  the agenda for the activity?  What can participants expect?
Your Off-Road Driving experience includes van pick-up and drop-off from any Las Vegas Strip hotel.  Pick-ups are generally scheduled for 7:00AM, 10:00AM, or 1:00PM any day of the week.  Once all participants are onboard, there will be a 20-minute drive to the staging area.

At the staging area, and once all paperwork is complete, participants will be fitted with equipment and provided a brief orientation on the capabilities of the Rhino Rough Terrain Vehicle (RTV).  Driving instruction will include vehicle inspection, starting and stopping, quick turns, hill riding, and riding over obstacles.  The real riding begins after the driving instruction.  Note that this is a guided tour with each vehicle following the one in front of it.

Every RTV is equipped with a radio that provides constant communication with the lead vehicle.  Instructors will talk drivers over, through, and around obstacles on the course.  Total driving time is approximately 2 hours.  Free pictures of the day’s excursion will be sent to each participant.  Water and a light snack will also be provided and available throughout the tour.

What should the participants bring or wear?  Is all equipment included?
All equipment including helmet, gloves, and goggles will be provided.  Participants should dress for the day’s weather forecast – shorts and short sleeve shirts during summer season and jeans or sweatpants and a jacket during the winter.  Wearing clothing that you wont mind getting dirty is recommended.  Also, participants should wear athletic shoes, sunglasses, and sunscreen.  Remember to bring medications which you may need on any trip (i.e. asthma inhaler, bee sting kit, etc.).  A light snack will be provided as well as all the water you can drink.  Don’t forget your camera!

How long should the participants allow for the activity from start to finish?
Your Off-Road Driving experience will begin at approximately 7:00AM, 10:00AM, or 1:00PM with the van pick-up from your Las Vegas hotel.  You can expect to be returned to your hotel around 10:00AM (for the earliest tour), 1:00PM, or 4:00PM for the afternoon tour.

When and Where does the activity take place?
Your tour will take place in the Apex Recreation Area (Nellis Dunes), just a 20-minute drive north of downtown Las Vegas, where there is plenty of room to roam in this very scenic multi-terrain environment. Tours take place year-around.
