What is the agenda for the activity?  What can participants expect?
All flights take off from historic Van Nuys Airport where scenes from Casablanca and so many other great movies were filmed.  Flights can be scheduled at any departure time between 9AM and 5PM. Upon arrival, you will receive an in-depth orientation on the aircraft and flight plan, as well as an extensive overview your pilot’s flying experience. During your flight, the pilot will point out landmarks and points of interest along the route.  The Flying Adventures offered include:

Inland Jaunt – just as soon as you launch, you'll enjoy relatively low-altitude views of the Santa Monica Mountains, followed by the Universal, Disney, and Burbank Studios.  Then enjoy dramatic views of the Hollywood Sign, the Griffith Park Observatory, and finally the impressive skyline of downtown Los Angeles before heading back to Van Nuys.  Flying time:  approximately 50 minutes.

Sunset Flight – romance is in the air! Take off as the sky turns amber in the west. Fly along the spectacular California coastline where you'll receive panoramic views of the Santa Monica Pier, Santa Monica Mountains, and the multi-million dollar homes of Malibu, California. Return just as the city lights begin to glisten and glow. Flying time:  approximately 50 minutes.

The aircraft is a 4-seater single engine Cessna or a Piper Cherokee.  Flights generally take place below  5,000 feet.

What should the participants bring or wear?  Is all equipment included?
All equipment is included.  We recommend you dress comfortably, and sunglasses if you are sensitive to the sun.  During winter we suggest warmer clothing, layered.  The temperature at altitude is usually cooler. Please bring with you any medications you might need on any trip (e.g. asthma inhaler, etc.).  Don’t forget your camera!

How long should the participants allow for the activity from start to finish?
Please arrive 15-minutes prior to your scheduled flight time.  The duration of the flight is approximately 50 minutes. 

When and Where does the activity take palce?
All flights take off from historic Van Nuys Airport, just 25 minutes northwest of downtown Los Angeles.  Inland Jaunts can be scheduled at any time between 9AM and 5PM. Departure times for the Sunset Flight depend on the time of year, but you should plan on arriving at the airport at least one-hour before estimated sunset.

Are there any restrictions (age, weight, health, etc.)?
Women who are pregnant should not fly.  People weighing over 200 pounds should notify us before making their reservations.

Can spectators be accommodated?
Spectators and guests are welcome at the airport, but only up to three (3) passengers per airplane may participate in this flying experience.

Can minors participate?
Minors are welcome, but persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Can persons with disabilities be accommodated?
Persons with disabilities may be accommodated, but please notify us prior to making your reservation of any physical limitations.

Can large groups or corporate events be accommodated?
Because of the limited number of available seats on the aircraft, large groups cannot be accommodated.

Are there any availability or timing restrictions?
The each Flying Adventure is available seven days a week.  The Inland Jaunt can be scheduled at any time between 9AM and 5PM, whereas the departure time for the Sunset Flight depends on the time of year.  Please call for the specific Sunset Flight Time based on the date of the flight.  The duration of each flight is approximately 50 minutes.  This experience is offered year-around, except on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
